Dr Katz is a globally recognized expert in pain management and joins Relevium Medical’s Clinical Advisory Board to guide its knee OA program. He is a neurologist, pain specialist, statistically trained, and has served as Chair of the FDA’s Advisory Committee on Anesthesia, Critical Care, and Addiction Products. Dr Katz also founded Analgesic Solutions, a company exclusively focused on developing tools and techniques to improve the reliability of clinical trials. He has advised government agencies including the Office of National Drug Policy, on prescription opioid abuse, and has decades of clinical trial experience across pharmaceuticals, devices, and non-pharmaceutical analgesics. His deep expertise in pain drug development and regulatory strategy strengthens Relevium Medical's scientific advisory bench.
